PENNY - That’s a Keeper at Rosabel
Penny is an absolute spitefire of a dog. She is our smallest beagle at under 13”, but has the biggest personality. She does not know she is a dog, and will always be found with the kids. Penny has had limited showing, but is our daughters dog and competes in Junior Handling annd enjoys every moment. She has the flashy personality and spice the judges love so much.

FLORA - TELFORDS RING AROUND THE ROSABEL
Many thanks to Telford Beagles for entrusting us with this amazing dog. Her dam was the #2 beagle in Canada and has produced some outstanding puppies. Flora would rather be chasing rabbits and gophers than compete in the showring, so she’s going to be settling in at a home and hopefully raising some puppies in 2026. Flora is 15”, moves extremely well, has wonderful drive and reach, and those long, lucious ears that are really only for decoration.

BUBBLES
A fun and adorable girl, Bubbles is a 13” who is sweet and kind. She does not love the show ring, and like Flora, her calling and greatest joy is the field that surround our home, adventuring with the other beagles and snuggling with her kids. She will add some amazing depth and quality to our program in the upcoming year.
HERO - BPIS CH TELFORDS WORTH FIGHTING FOR
Currently our main man here at Rosabel. This fellow 15” is the heart of our kennel. He is a broad shouldered, laid back, handsome mover, his grand sire is the famous Xavier (Westminster BOB, US National Beagle Speciality Winner ….). Hero has spent time in the regular show ring, as well as competed in Junior Handling and he loves it all. We look forward to his first batch of puppies in 2026! Hero is available as a stud to approved females.

(RETIRED) DIEGO - GCH Mezcal Quijano/Riquelme
Our very first champion and show dog! This 13" tri colour beagle is a big dog in a little body. Retired from the regular show campaign, he competed in Junior Handling with our daughter, and loved every moment of it. Diego finished the year as the #9 beagle with very limited showing. He was unfortunately retired early as a stud dog, but he found an amazing home with amazing kids to call his own.

This sweet 13” girl was imported from Mexico as a wee little puppy. We had hoped she would be the foundation of our kennel but unfortunately despite our best efforts we were unable to get her bred. She was the hardest dog I ever retired, but she has made her home in BC with 2 other retired show beagles.

Our soft hearted 15" girl has spent some time in the showring, but did not enjoy herself, so she has spent her days here at the farm doing what she loves most, being a beagle! Luna is a foundation bitch for our breeding program with lines that include Milroc and Lanbur, she produced 3 lovely litters for us and has been retired to a lovely home in Ontario.

Diggory wass our very first beagle, the one that made us fall in love with the breed, and affectionately nicknamed "Grandpa Dog". He is a husky 15". He has passed all his health clearances but has not been shown. After siring a few litters here, he has been retired to Manitoba and lives with his lovely lady there.
